Grades and Blades
Tootin' Hills and Squadron Line Students in grades 2 - 6 are welcome to come to the Grades & Blades after-school ice skating program!
Skate, socialize, eat, and have fun at ISCC! Enjoy an afterschool snack in the Sk8ter'z Cafe, then lace up your skates and get ready for some fun.
Skaters will receive a snack, a 30-minute group lesson, and one hour of free skating.
Ages
Currently, Grades & Blades is for students in grades 2 - 6 only. We encourage students in Kindergarten and 1st Grade to sign up for Learn to Skate or NY Rangers Learn to Play if interested in skating.

Cost
Join Grades & Blades for $300.00/skater.
Your skater will receive:
- 90 minutes of ice skating time weekly for six weeks (9 hours total)
- 30 minute group lessons included in skating time each week (3 hours total)
- A membership with Learn to Skate USA
- Transportation to and from the ISCC from the school
- An afterschool snack
Skates
Don't have skates? That's okay! Purchase skate rentals for all six weeks for an additional $30.00/skater.
Skaters that do not have their own skates are required to purchase rental skates.
Snacks
School and skating makes for a big appetite! We will include a complementary snack for your skater from our Sk8terZ Cafe each week.
Additional snacks will be available for purchase. You are also welcome to send your child with a snack from home.
Learn to Skate USA
ISCC is including a membership with Learn to Skate USA in the club cost. Learn to Skate USA is endorsed by US Figure Skating, USA Hockey, and US Speedskating.
- Receive secondary sport accident insurance
- Subscription to Learn to Skate USA Magazine
- Participate in lessons, performances, competitions, and all activities associated with Learn to Skate USA!
