What is Summer of Gold?
An exclusive figure skating seminar at the International Skating Center of Connecticut designed to help skaters reach their full potential. This immersive program features on-ice and off-ice group training sessions daily, along with private lessons with Olympic and World Champions Katia Gordeeva and Victor Petrenko, World Junior Champion Vladimir Petrenko, Team USA National and World Medalist Emilie Connors, and the ISCC Skating Club staff.
Ideal for skaters Pre-Preliminary and up who are serious about improving their technique, gaining new insights, and experiencing a unique opportunity to train with top-tier coaches
When is Summer of Gold?
Week 1: 7/21 - 7/25
Week 2: 7/29 - 8/1
On-ice sessions start the day off at 8:00 am and sessions will end by 1:30 pm. Exact schedules will be sent to registered participants closer to day one.
Sign up for both sessions to maximize your skating and receive a reduced rate.
Summer of Gold Includes:
- 9 On-Ice Group Classes - Jumps, Spins, Choreography, Edgework, Power Skating, Interpretive
- 8 Off-Ice Group Classes - Ballet, Jumps, Spinner, Strength & Conditioning
- 1 Program Run-Through - w/ In-Person U.S. National-Level Official Critique
- Unlimited Practice Ice - Add-on Unlimited Practice Ice! Ice is available throughout the day for both practice and private lessons

Private Lessons
Private lessons are not included in the Summer of Gold program and are arranged separately after registration is completed. The ISCC Skating Club will organize lessons as requests are received on a first-come, first-served basis, depending on coach availability.
Living Accommodations
Our partners at the International Hotel, just 10 minutes away from the ISCC, will have rooms available for reservation starting February 2025. These accommodations include common areas and kitchen access, ideal for Summer of Gold participants.
